About the role

At S45 we are building an AI native investment bank that treats data, models and workflows as core product.

As an AI Product Manager you sit at the intersection of users, data and engineering. You turn messy, high stakes capital markets problems into clear product surfaces and AI systems that actually ship. You own the full loop from naming the job to be done, to designing evals, to tracking model and product health in production.

What you will do

• Start with the job to be done: sit with users, understand their workflows and name the real pain

• Decide whether AI is the right tool: classify, extract, rank, route or generate and say no when AI is not needed

• Scope around data: define schemas, quality bars, labeling plans, QA, lineage and privacy expectations

• Design for probabilistic behaviour: thresholds, safe fallbacks, human review paths and failure handling

• Write clear PRDs that define what good looks like, including eval harness, guardrails, latency and cost SLOs

• Work with engineers to run offline test sets, rubrics, shadow runs, canaries and online A/Bs

• Track product and model health together: adoption, time to value, precision and recall, rubric based hallucination rate, latency and cost per request

What we are looking for

• At least 3 years of experience in product, ideally in B2B SaaS or AI driven products

• You have shipped at least one AI product to production with a measurable lift in a clear metric

• Comfort with LLMs, tools, RAG, embeddings and practical data labeling plans

• Strong writing skills and the ability to share specs you are proud of

• A habit of thinking from first principles, asking clear questions and deciding with data

• You are not excited by prompt tinkering without data work, research that never ships, or “own the roadmap” roles that do not own results
